New business developer
I am proud to announce Mark de Jong as our new international business developer.
In the past twelve months, Jet Stream has done a lot of new business:
After the relaunch of StreamZilla as a premium European CDN with a new website, new products and a new platform, we managed to attract higher end customers throughout Europe, via our online marketing and our valued resellers. Well known enterprises, sports clubs, and fashion brands use StreamZilla as their preferred streaming CDN.
Since the unveiling of our latest VideoExchange CDN suite on Streaming Media Europe, we have been contacted by many telcos, broadcasters and hosting providers. The CDN business is hot! We have licensed and built four CDNs in the past year and there are some more in the pipeline, to be built before the end of the year.
We also have been contacted by many industry partners. We have teamed up with Edgeware for example to address the need for maximum density. We have teamed up with GX and Blue Billywig to offer a vertical video platform for world-famous sports club Ajax.
And there is so much more to do. New partnerships. New customers for CDN streaming services. New telco CDN projects.
So Mark de Jong has joined our team as International New Business Developer. He previously worked for Netmasters. If you want to be successful in the streaming and CDN industry, you need to have multidisciplinary skills. Mark is one of the few people with a long track record and both technical and commercial skills.
We have never done direct sales for StreamZilla. Online marketing grew our business. To further accelerate our EU expansion, Mark will explore the European market for reselling agents. If you’re interested: contact us. Because if we can’t find a good agent for a specific area, we will directly target the content owners in that specific region.
We are also intensifying our industry partnerships so we can offer better integration between VDO-X and numerous third party technologies, for streaming delivery, transcoding, video management and CDN deployment.
And Marks main focus will be on teaming up with global system integrators, hosting providers, enterprises and telcos to build their CDNs.
