CDN in a Box
StreamZilla introduced the CDN in a Box service. Wholesale CDN resellers want to offer white labelled services to their customers. They want to be able to provision their own customers.
The StreamZilla CDN in a Box service is powered by VDO-X, so all their customers have a market leading self-service cockpit to manage assets, live streams and statistics. The customers can use advanced, open standards based API’s to integrate and automate their workflow.
What makes the CDN in a Box service unique, is that the wholesale resellers get dedicated resources within the CDN.
Wholesale resellers have their own management servers, their own core and fallback delivery servers. They can freely share and assign the available resources to their customers and the capacity is guaranteed. The CDN management system reports great overall statistics and the reseller can see in realtime where traffic is coming from, which servers are used most, which accounts use most resources.
It is possible to buy the resources utility based (pay per TB) or flat-fee, with a very agressive fixed rate per Gbps. This lets the reseller buy a fixed rate volume service at low costs, and sell premium TB traffic: a margin that can be a factor 5.
Popular traffic is automatically bursted on the StreamZilla CDN so the reseller does not have to worry about capacity limits, performance and throughput. Bursting traffic is charged per TB. The wholesale reseller can manage popularity resources and thresholds per customer, to manage costs.
As far as I know, this is the most advanced white labelled service in the market. The first new wholesale reseller already signed up! It is mainly thanks to the flexible nature of VDO-X (VideoExchance) that StreamZilla can offer such a cool service.
